BEWA SF TYPE settlement tanks are intended for separating suspensions contained in sludge. Sludge treatment is done through gravity suspension sedimentation process. The tanks are made as a reinforced cement monolithic structure closed with a reinforced cement cover equipped with a cast-iron hatch. In order to adapt a settlement tank to the incoming sewer, it is suggested that a tank superstructure consisted of concrete rings joined by elastomer seals should be used. Settlement tank intake is equipped with an inflow deflector.
