Bottoms and concrete rings of Ø1000, Ø1200, Ø1500, Ø2000, Ø2500,
meet DIN 4034 part I and II standard.
BEWA complete sewage manhole systems are manufactured of precast-concrete reinforced cement elements (B-45 minimal class concrete). The manholes are intended for building rainwater and sewage systems.
The manholes may be consisted of the following elements:
- manhole bottom,
- manhole superstructure rings,
- reduction elements (covers, manhole cones, reduction plates)
All manhole types are made of elements manufactured in two versions:
- U type (joined by elastomer seal)
- P-W type (tongue and groove joint)
At the request of a client, BEWA company installs precast-concrete reducers in the bottom elements and a wall leakproof joints (PVC or PE) allowing to install the associated sewage pipework. The shape of a reducer and landing is made under individual order. It also concerns intake and outlet configuration (angles, diameters and leakproof joint types) and a reducer height.
Lubricating grease should be used for the installation of individual elements with a seal. External seal surface installed at the manhole element bottom should be covered with the grease as well as the internal surface of “lock” element installed on the seal.
In case of sewage manholes intended for sewage contained particularly aggressive chemicals, it is possible to make the internal bottom plate surface of material more resistant to chemical attack. Finishing material used for making the reducer and manhole bottom surface may be adapted to individual order.
